Panasonic cameras

For our more simple setups, we're using `Panasonic HC V777 <https://www.panasonic.com/ch/de/consumer/foto-video/camcorder/hc-v777eg-k.html>`_ cameras with the following characteristics:

- Static camera
- 20X optical zoom
- HDMI interface
- Viewfinder

PTZ cameras
-----------

For our more sophisticated setups, we're using `SMTAV BA30-N <https://www.smtav.com/collections/ndi/products/ba30-n>`_ cameras with the following characteristics:

- Pan & tilt
- 30X optical zoom
- HDMI, SDI & NDI (Onvif) interfaces
- `PoE <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_over_Ethernet>`_ support

PTZ controller
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

To control the :ref:`PTZ cameras`, we're using a `SMTAV YCS-31DP <https://www.smtav.com/collections/ptz-controller/products/4d-joystick-network-ptz-controller-support-poe>`_ controller with the following characteristics:

- Pan & tilt control
- Zoom control
- Presets support
- `PoE`_ support
