RØDECaster Pro Companion App
----------------------------

To change sounds & access recordings on the :ref:`RØDECaster Pro`, there's a software called `RØDECaster Pro Companion App <https://rode.com/en/interfaces-and-mixers/rodecaster-series/rodecaster-pro#module_15>`_. It can be downloaded in the `RØDECaster Pro download section <https://rode.com/en/interfaces-and-mixers/rodecaster-series/rodecaster-pro#module_13>`_.

ATEM Software Control
---------------------

To configure & control the :ref:`ATEM Mini`, there's a software called `ATEM Software Control <https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/atemmini/software>`_.
It's included in the *«ATEM Switchers Update»* and can be downloaded in the `ATEM Support Center <https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/atem-live-production-switchers>`_.

ATEM Mini config
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The :ref:`ATEM Mini` should start with a useable configuration and you don't have to change anything, apart from the media and streaming settings.

Feel free to downlaod the `ATEM Mini backup config <https://git.confirm.ch/confirm/streaming/-/blob/master/configs/ATEM%20Mini.xml>`_ in case anything goes wrong. 
To update the `ATEM Mini backup config`_, just edit everything by hand in :ref:`ATEM Software Control`, then export / save and overwrite the existing one.

.. important::

    Ensure there are no streaming service settings (i.e. sensitive streaming key) in the saved configuration file.

Companion
---------

To configure & control the :ref:`Stream Deck`, we're running `Bitfocus Companion <https://bitfocus.io/companion>`_  on the :ref:`Raspberry Pi <Companion & Raspberry Pi>`. 
Companion is providing a web interface on `http://rpi.local:8000 <http://rpi.local:8000>`_.

Companion config
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The :ref:`Companion` should start with a useable configuration and you don't have to change anything.

Feel free to downlaod the `Companion backup config <https://git.confirm.ch/confirm/streaming/-/blob/master/configs/Companion.companionconfig>`_ in case anything goes wrong. 
To update the `Companion backup config`_, just edit everything by hand in :ref:`Companion` web interface, then export and overwrite the existing one.

    Run the ``normalise_companion_config.py`` script in the `scripts directory <https://git.confirm.ch/confirm/streaming/-/tree/master/scripts>`_ to normalise the ID's and format of the `Companion backup config`_.
