Ethernet Switch

We’re using a D-Link DSS-100E-9P unmanaged Ethernet surveillance switch for:

• Network connectivity

• PoE supply for the PTZ cameras & PTZ controller

Important

The switch is unmanaged, but there’s a physical DIP switch on the front which can be used to isolate devices. Ensure the DIP switch is set to Standard rather than Isolate, so that devices can communicate with each other and not only the uplink port.

Since port 1-4 are high priority ports, connect the ATEM Mini and the upstream to those ports. PTZ cameras can use ports 5-8 since its only used for controlling.
