RØDECaster Pro Companion App¶

To change sounds & access recordings on the RØDECaster Pro, there’s a software called RØDECaster Pro Companion App. It can be downloaded in the RØDECaster Pro download section.

To configure & control the ATEM Mini, there’s a software called ATEM Software Control. It’s included in the «ATEM Switchers Update» and can be downloaded in the ATEM Support Center.

The ATEM Mini should start with a useable configuration and you don’t have to change anything, apart from the media and streaming settings.

Feel free to downlaod the ATEM Mini backup config in case anything goes wrong. To update the ATEM Mini backup config, just edit everything by hand in ATEM Software Control, then export / save and overwrite the existing one.

Important

Ensure there are no streaming service settings (i.e. sensitive streaming key) in the saved configuration file.

To configure & control the Stream Deck, we’re running Bitfocus Companion on the Raspberry Pi. Companion is providing a web interface on http://rpi.local:8000.

The Companion should start with a useable configuration and you don’t have to change anything.

Feel free to downlaod the Companion backup config in case anything goes wrong. To update the Companion backup config, just edit everything by hand in Companion web interface, then export and overwrite the existing one.

Important

Run the normalise_companion_config.py script in the scripts directory to normalise the ID’s and format of the Companion backup config.
