Recording & streaming

Audio recording

Recording of audio is done on the RØDECaster Pro.

To start recording, ensure an microSD card is in the RØDECaster Pro and press the big REC button. Alternatively, you can record to a computer via USB.

Video recording

Recording of video (with audio) is done on the ATEM Mini.

To start recording, ensure an SSD is connected to the USB C port and press the REC button.

Streaming

Streaming is done on the ATEM Mini, to a supported streaming service.

Before you start streaming, ensure the following requirements are met:

1. A stable internet connection is available, e.g. via uplink on the Ethernet Switch

2. The streaming service is prepared (e.g. YouTube channel created & streaming key available)

3. The streaming service is configured via ATEM Software Control

If you’ve done that, you should be able to go live by pressing the ON AIR button on the ATEM Mini.
